About me

Hello there! I didn’t start my career in operations. I started in design, which turned out to be a great place to learn how work actually gets done. Design taught me how to think in systems, lead with empathy, ask better questions, and notice when something looks fine on paper but falls apart in practice.

Over time, I moved into design operations and then broader business and program operations. What stuck with me through all of it is a strong preference for clarity over complexity and usefulness over theory. I like processes that make sense, documentation people can actually find, and tools that support the work instead of getting in the way. Empathy plays a big role here too. It helps me understand how work is experienced by the people doing it, not just how it’s supposed to function.

I see my role as being part of the team, not adjacent to it. I care a lot about being a solid, reliable partner who does their job well and also steps in to help wherever it’s needed. The best work happens when people feel supported, trusted, and aligned, and I take that responsibility seriously. I pay attention to the details that keep teams moving, especially in environments where priorities shift and not everything is fully defined. I care about doing good work, but I care just as much about how that work gets done, and I hope I can help make everyone’s jobs feel a bit easier and more enjoyable.

Off the clock, you’ll find me carving up the ski slopes, hanging out with my dog, Tippi, and learning about neurodivergence and psychology.

My operations philosophy

I believe good operations should support the people doing the work. Clear processes, thoughtful systems, and practical tools create space for teams to focus without unnecessary friction. My approach is grounded in empathy and usability. I care about how work is experienced day to day, not just how it’s meant to function. Operations should provide reliability and structure while still leaving room for change. I value trust, psychological safety, and balance, and I believe strong teams are built through support, clarity, and respect. When empathy and operational rigor come together, teams do better work.
